Studying English Online

Online courses are the best ways to study English and various online schools are emerging here and there in order to educate the people on the English subject. There are numerous online schools but you have to choose the one which is the most suitable for you. You must ensure that the online school is registered and offers quality education. Many schools which offer online English courses are not up to the mark and so the quality of education offered by them are not so high in standard.

  • Language exchange learning: They offer language exchange learning. This is extremely essential because while studying a particular language you need to know the slangs used in that particular language. If you hear the language in the moth of the natives then learning that particular language becomes easier and more effective. Certain online courses offer language exchange courses.
  • Listen to the language being spoken by someone else: Certain online courses offer the advantage of letting the listener know how the native language is spoken. When the listener hears some native conversing with another native, then he/ she get an idea of the language better. Thus he can speak more freely when he tries to do so imitating the native who was conversing. The natives have a particular tone of speaking the language. Therefore if one hears it properly then he can easily pick up the accent. That would however take quite a lot of time and requires practice.
  • Befriend someone who speaks English: Another best way is to befriend a person who speaks English. This will make you converse in English and thus gain sufficient knowledge about the language. When you are writing an e-mail to your friend then also you are using the English language; even if you are speaking to that friend of yours in English, then you can automatically learn the language very well. Thus, it is the best way to make a pen friend who would converse with you on a regular basis. You will also get to know the English culture intimately.
  • Online schools offer language courses: Voice chat is also available in some online schools offering English as a spoken language. They use voice chats to record their voices. You can speak in English and hear it yourself. Then only you will get to know the mistakes that you are making and learn from those mistakes. You will then have a good command over the language.

What is blogging and how do you go about doing it?

I want to know exactly what blogging is and how I can earn money doing it. I have read that a lot of people are earning blogging. So please experts advise me how to go about it.

I like to think about blogging like I’m an online journalist, or magizine writer. I write articles that I hope others will find interesting, and then will subscribe to my blog.

Blogger.com is an excellent site to start up your first blog, and yes you can advertise on it. However, I suggest you first setup a blog, and try it out for a whle writing articles and buliding a subscriber base before you worry about trying to make money advertising off it. Link #1 below is a Youtube video explaining a bit about internet advertising. Link #2 gives some step by step instructions to get you started.

Step 1: Start up your blog, write about what you are passionite about

Step 2: After you’ve buld up readers, slowly ad advertising systems

Good morning NOLA!  Another beautiful day is in store for the Big Easy today.  The high should reach the upper seventies with plenty of sun and just a little breeze to get us by.  The low tonight will dip just slightly into the fifties for a beautiful evening.  This weekend has been just perfect for any outdoor activities you might have.  I spent the day in Palmer Park yesterday for the Save the CDP Fundraiser. It was a gorgeous day with plenty of great people.  If you didn’t get to come and get a signed copy of my books you are in luck.  I will be back on Jackson Square today at the 1850’s House Store.  If you are out and about stop by and get your signed copy of “If I Were A French Quarter Rat” or “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!   Don’t worry about the rain we won’t see any significant chance of that for about a week.  Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy! See y’all in NOLA!

What Is An Ebook? Information About Downloadable Books

eBooks or Electronic books are self-contained “executable” files of HTML. This HTML may be a web site you’ve created or HTML you’ve specifically prepared to be compiled into a downloadable .exe file for distribution. When downloaded, this file will self install on your clients desktop.

eBooks are very similar to normal physical books in the sense that they are rich in content. They are a huge resource for information. Anything you can put in a physical book, you can put in an eBook. If your site is about tropical birds, why not write a tropical bird guide. If your site is about web design, you could write a beginner’s web tutorial.

An eBook basically is a packaged offline web site that allows authors a great deal of flexibility in presentation of content. eBooks can be downloaded from your website and stored and read offline at any time. eBooks come with user friendly navigation tools that lets the reader skip to any page or search for any keyword in the eBook.

eBooks can be completely interactive with the Internet and can contain live links, graphics, forms, JavaScript, embedded video, audio, animation and more. Hyperlinks and internal search engines enhance navigation, allowing the reader to find items of interest quickly and easily. eBooks combine the functionality and purpose of physical books along with complex software.

eBooks will play a very important role in Internet Marketing over the next few years, no matter what the product or service offered by a company is. How can your business benefit from the eBook direction especially in terms of Internet Marketing?

eBooks offer myriad advantages to the Internet Marketer. A good idea for an eBook can explode your income. The best thing about publishing your own eBook is that not only can you earn a steady income by selling the eBook but you can also market all of your other products through the same eBook.

The primary reason why anyone would create and publish their own eBook is to make money. eBooks that are informative and focused sell very well. If the eBooks subject has a market, people would be willing to buy it.

One of the major benefits of selling eBooks is that anyone without any sort of prior experience could create a book and with proper marketing strategies, build a huge customer base. The key is building credibility with your eBooks. Once this is done, it would be very easy to make new as well as follow up sales. eBooks can lead to a variety of other opportunities for your business. eBooks also serve as great marketing tools. They can be used to attract customers for your other products or services.

How is blogging done to promote ur website?

I need as much suggestions as possible. The more the better. I haven’t had the chance to sit and really go over the process. Again, looking for some answers where I can start blogging immediately.

Well you have to post relevant content to your blog that will help the market you have chosen. It is also good to have a lot of free stuff. Blogs are very search engine friendly. Now you still have to promote the blog. These are the steps i suggest you follow…
Traffic-Getting Jumpstart Master Plan

1. Pick a market

2. Register the domain

3. Install the Free SEO Blog Software

4. Change the blog’s theme

5. Install the banner ads, affiliate program ads, etc

6. Set up the email capture and first few follow up emails

7. Add content to blog

a. Run a social bookmarking campaign on blog with one group of bookmarking accounts logins and at different times and days.

b. Create supporting micro-sites mini-network (social profile pages at squidoo, hubpages, bumpzee, and small static hand built sites).

c. Run a social bookmarking campaign on your micro-sites mini-network with a different set of bookmarking logins and at different times and days.

8. Submit site to SEO friendly directories sites using directory submission services.

9. Create video

a. Distribute video with video sharing software

b. Run a social bookmarking campaign on the videos sharing pages.

Steps 1 – 9 are enough to jumpstart the traffic to your new blog, static website, ecommerce website… and it only takes an hour or two.

If this is a site or market that you know is worth spending additional time on then you can follow these additional steps.

The following steps don’t take that much additional time but should, and can easily be, outsourced.

10. Every month (or sooner) go back and run the social bookmarking campaign again using new social bookmarking logins at different times and days.

11. Every month (or sooner) go back and create a new micro-site or social profile page to support your micro-sites mini-network.
12. Add posts to the blog that link/pingback to other authority blogs in the market.

13. Pick specific posts on your blog that you’d like to rank higher.

a. Social bookmark those posts with random bookmarking login accounts

b. Create a videos specific to those posts and load to youtube

c. Blast that video out to video sharing sites

d. Social bookmark the videos on the video sharing sites with random bookmarking logins and at different times and days.

e. Find other authority blogs in the market and post content-rich comments on their blog with links heading back to the post you are trying to rank higher.

You can do the following steps yourself but I would strongly recommend you simply outsource them.

14. Outsource someone to spin articles for you and submit them to directories

15. Outsource someone to create new social bookmarking login accounts

16. Outsource someone to subscribe to your RSS feed and have them social bookmark your new posts (the RSS feed notifies them when there is a new post so they simply head over.

17. Outsource someone to post high-quality, relevant comments on other people’s blogs and forums (DO NOT COMMENT SPAM). Concentrate on ones that do not use the “no follow” attribute.

18. Rinse and Repeat steps 7 – 18+ for sites that are worth the effort.

The “Good Book” publishing company invited representatives from a certain number of schools?

to its presentation where it planned to donate 3050 books to the schools so that each school would get the same number of books. But it turned out that eleven of the schools initially invited did not come to the presentation. However, the publishing company managed to divide the books equally among the schools that attended the ceremony. How many books did each of the schools get at the presentation?

*The question is too long, so it is continues at this detail section. Please try to give details steps and workings to this question as best as possible! Thks so much(:

3050 = 61*2*5*5 = 50 * 61

the initial plan was 50 books for 61 schools, but ended up being 61 books for 50 schools.

answer = 61 books.

Good Morning NOLA! . Well we survived the first weekend of Jazz Fest.   Our  high will only be in the seventies today.  Our rain chance is about 20 percent today. The is a chance of some scattered showers tonight. Like I always say, it never hurts to keep the umbrella handy just in case, but I don’t think you will need it.  The clouds have moved in and will be mostly cloudy today with a little breeze. There is still lots going on in the city as usual.  Jazz Fest is here and the line-up looks awesome as usual. Don’t miss out. I hope you are making your and it includes music.  The weather should cooperate so get out and enjoy.  The week ahead looks pretty good. Don’t worry about those scattered showers over the week ahead but all in all looks great. I will  be at the 1850’s House Store sigining books in a couple of weeks. I will let you know exact dates as I get them. So make plans to come out a get your personalized copies of “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!” and “IF I Were A French Quarter Rat”.  Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy! See y’all in NOLA!

Blogging the ‘Google way’ with Karen Wickre at Connected Marketing Week, San Francisco, 2010

Anna Marie Virzi, ClickZ, interviews Karen Wickre, Google, at Connected Marketing Week, ClickZ Blogworks Forum, San Francisco, 2010 on the subject of how do you guide an army of bloggers. Karen says Google has about 150 corporate blogs and teams manage each of those. In order to avoid a blog coming across as too much “corporate speak,” Karen says Google does a bit of best practices training with each blog team, showing them the Google blog style and voice so the blogs can offer lively, useful content. The vast majority of Google’s corporate blog readers are already familiar with the subject matter of these corporate blogs and the role of each team is to make sure the content is useful, has tips, and encourages feedback. Blog posts are drafted and edited by each blog team. Karen recommends to other corporations that they approach their blogs as if they were publications, to engage the reader, and make the content interesting, not just formal announcements. In addition, blogs should be conversational and friendly in tone and provide useful links for its readers.

What are the copyright restrictions for publishing a document that I received in response to an online ad?

What are the copyright limitations if I would like to publish something that I received in response to an online ad that I posted? Can I solicit an email from the author stating that they grant copyright privileges to me and be covered?

I’m not sure what you mean by "something I received in response to an online ad that I posted." Whether or not that is true has nothing to do with whether a work is subject to copyright or not.

In short, if a work is protected by copyright, then you will need permission from the author to publish the work. The permission needs to be in writing. You want to make sure this type of document is properly prepared in order to avoid any future problems (e.g., lawsuits).
