Good Morning NOLA!  The bananna tree in the courtyard looks as cold as I feel.  It is chilly out there people!  The sun is back for a little while even though our nights will be cold. Keep an eye on your pets, plants and pipes for now.  There is no rain in the forecast until a week from today.  So it’s just us and Mr. Sunshine.  Our weekend still looks like it will be beautiful.  Our Highs will be in the fifties for today and tomorrow then warming slightly with daytime highs bumping up into the sixties.  You will still want a jacket or sweater, but what great weather to get out and do something.  I am so looking forward to this weekend.  I feel like I have been hibernating .  Come see me at the OCH Market  on Saturday.  there will be lots of cool stuff.  I know you can find something for that specail Valentine.  You will want to check out my book “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!”  See you in NOLA!

Good Morning NOLA!  It’s Friday morning and for you Catholics, Good Friday.  There will be crawfish boils and fish frys everywhere today. The Easter Holiday and Spring Break swings into  full effect. Our  high will be in the eighties today.  It is great weather to get out visit some of those outdooor gatherings. There will be some clouds today and possibly a stray shower or two even though the chance is only ten percent today.  It never hurts to keep the umbrella handy even though the sun is back and will stay with us until probably mid-week.  There is still lots going on in the city as usual.  Easter week is here.  I’m thinking a crawfish boil for Good Friday sounds awesome.  Jazz Fest is just around the corner and the line-up looks awesome as usual.  I will  be at the 1850’s House Store sigining books in a couple of weeks. I will let you know exact dates as I get them. So make plans to come out a get your personalized copies of “I Love You Bigger Than The Sky!” and “IF I Were A French Quarter Rat”.  Whatever you decide to do today, enjoy! See y’all in NOLA!

Good Morning NOLA!  Brrr!  What is going on out there?  The little cool front we were promised after all that rain on Saturday is still hanging on.  Yesterday was downright chilly out in the streets.  I was working on Canal and Decatur for most of the day on the movie Medallion.  The wind was slicing through us and my feather wig was dancing all day. Todays high is suppose be sixty-six but we never made it to our high yesterday.  Today will be partly cloudy and it is looking like we have more rain in the forecast for Mardi Gras day and Wednesday. Get the rain gear out and keep the umbrella handy.  If it is anything like Saurday I highly recommend rain boots or shoes of some kind. The rain will move out for the rest of the week and we should have a nice mid to end of the week.  Saturday the twelfth looks awesome so come out to the Quarter for my book signing at the 1850’s House Store on the Square. Have fun and be safe out there.  I’ll see you in NOLA!
